Christina Corrales-Cotto was voted adjunct of the year by her peers.  This news was announced at the COD Board of Trustees meeting in April 2022.

Professor Corrales-Cotto was born and raised in the Coachella Valley and is a proud alumna of College of the Desert. She enjoys working with students and has assisted many individuals at the Eastern Valley and Palm Desert Campuses, in the Career Center as the Career Center Specialist, in DSPS, and with the Business Makerspace Project. Professor Corrales-Cotto is glad to participate in many COD events that support COD students and community members of the Coachella Valley.

Professor Corrales-Cotto has been teaching at COD for five years as an adjunct in both Computer Information Systems and Business. She enjoys her role as an Educator and excels at developing her courses into positive learning environments where students thrive.

Professor Corrales-Cotto also serves as one of the Distance Education and Instructional Design Coordinators. In this role, she teaches the DE Certification course, and assists faculty in Instructional Design and online certification. Additionally, she serves as a member of the DE Subcommittee and local POCR Team.
