Join us for an afternoon of refreshments, community, and belonging as we come together to celebrate and support our current and former foster youth—on our campus, in our local communities, and across the nation.
Why May Matters:
National Foster Care Month is a time to raise awareness about the nearly 400,000 youth in foster care and the complex issues they face. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge and honor the foster parents, caregivers, child welfare professionals, educators, mentors, policymakers, and advocates who work tirelessly to help these young people thrive and find lasting connections.
Let’s work together to increase engagement, support, and preparation for foster youth transitioning to adulthood and independent living.
