Registration is now open for our Summer 2022 DE Online Teaching and Learning course. Seating is limited. If you would like to work on earning your certification to meet Administrative Policy 4105 requirements this spring, please register through the Vision Resource Center link on the bottom left of our Faculty and Staff page. After logging in, go to the Events Calendar to register for the course starting June 13th. The deadline to register is Thursday, June 9th.
The course content is scaffolded to first introduce you to Canvas and Accessibility with the guidance of section D of the Online Education Initiative (OEI) Rubric. You will then build and design four online modules in Canvas with sections A-C of the OEI Rubric guidance. Once you complete the coursework, you will be enrolled in our self-paced DE at COD (our certification capstone). In DE at COD, you will apply their understanding of course design and the Online Education Initiative Rubric by self-reviewing your work to be submitted to the Distance Education Subcommittee for evaluation.
